St. Louis Man Arrested in Crystal City after Trying to Run People Over with Excavator

(Crystal City) Crystal City Police responded to the Plattin Rock Boat Club earlier this month in reference to someone trying to run over people in an excavator.
Crystal City Police Chief Chad Helms says his officers received the call just before midnight on May 9th.
When in custody, officers were able to uncover more about the suspect.
The suspect is a 44-year-old man from St. Louis. The name has not been released pending formal charges from the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
