St. Louis man injured in one-vehicle on I-55 in Pevely

A single-vehicle accident sent a St. Louis man to the hospital yesterday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Logan DeClue was traveling Southbound on I-55 near route Z in a Ford Mustang, when he attempted to pass a vehicle, overcorrected, and traveled off the right side of the road, he then struck the inside guardrail and crossed both lanes striking the outside guardrail before overturning and going down an embankment. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital with moderate injuries. Declue was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident which took place at 9:20 am Tuesday morning.
