(St. Mary) The city of St. Mary has a new mayor.
Carl Wyatt defeated Incumbent Mayor Gloria Bader 58 to 45 in Tuesday’s special runoff election.
The two tied in the June 2nd election with 37 votes apiece.
19 more people voted in Tuesday’s election than in June.
Wyatt has previously served St. Mary for eight years as mayor from 1997 through 2005.
Wyatt hopes to bring St. Mary out of financial difficulties for his new term as mayor.
