St. Paul Swimmer Remington Ross to Continue Swimming Career at Olivet Nazarene

(Farmington, Mo.) St. Paul swimmer Remington Ross signed to continue his swimming career at Olivet Nazarene in Bourbonnais, Illinois.

Ross says he’s excited but the offer came out of nowhere.

Ross visited Olivet and realized that it was the place he wanted to go to further his swimming and academic career.

The strange thing about Ross’s time swimming at St. Paul is, he didn’t actually swim for St. Paul.

He swam with Farmington, but he found good friendships with the Knights.

Farmington swim coach Art Daniels says Remington worked hard, not only in the pool, but in all aspects of life.

Remington also shines in the classroom.

He received a $22,000 per year academic scholarship from Olivet as well as a $10,000 per year academic scholarship from Lockheed Martin.

Only 200 students across the country receive one.
