St. Paul Teacher Celebrates 50 Years At The School

(Farmington) This is a special year for Sharon Sherrill, a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School in Farmington. Sherrill is in her 50th year of teaching at the school. Sherrill grew up in Emma, Missouri and then attended Concordia University in Nebraska before coming to Farmington. She says it didn’t take to long to realize what a special place that Farmington is.

Sherrill says two things stand out for her about being at St. Paul for 50 years.

Being involved in Lutheran education is apparently a family affair for the Sherrill’s. Sharon’s son, Andy, is the principal at St. Paul Lutheran High School in Farmington. She also has three granddaughters attending the school. Hear our complete interview with Sharon Sherrill and her son Andy below.
