(FARMINGTON, Mo.) – A couple of high school volleyball teams with positive starts to the 2019 season will do battle Thursday night as the West County Bulldogs travel from Frankclay to Farmington to go up against the St. Paul Giants on the MyMoInfo SportStream.

For West County, they lost 5 seniors from a 18-9-1 squad last year but have managed to begin 2019 with a record of 3-0.

The Bulldogs have victories over Ellington, Herculaneum, and South Iron, with every match lasting three sets.

West County head coach Jill Simily says as a whole she’s liked what she’s seen from her team so far this year.

On the side of the St. Paul Giants, they dropped their opener to South Iron but have come back strong for two straight wins over Valley and Greenville to push their record to 2-1.

St. Paul head coach Stacy Hensley is looking forward to the challenge that West County will bring.

Coverage of the volleyball match on Thursday night between the West County Bulldogs and the St. Paul Giants will begin at 5:45 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show on the MyMoInfo SportStream.
