St. Pius and Herculaneum Clash for 3rd Place of the Bruce Thomas Boys Basketball Game Tonight on KJFF

(HERCULANEUM) The 3rd place game of the 6th Annual Bruce Thomas Boys Basketball Tournament at Herculaneum will be broadcast tonight on AM 1400 KJFF. It features the 2nd-seeded St. Pius Lancers and the 4th-seeded Herculaneum Blackcats.

St. Pius lost in the semifinals 57-51 to McKinley on Wednesday. The Lancers will get a rematch with Herky from earlier this season when the Lancers beat them 65-33. Based on recent results though, Lancers head coach Chris Miller agrees that Herky will be tougher this time around.

Blackcats head coach Jason Jarvis is looking big picture with this rematch against St. Pius.

Herculaneum lost 66-58 to tournament top-seed Hancock in the semifinals on Wednesday. The 3rd-place game between Herky and St. Pius is scheduled for tonight at 7 on AM 1400 KJFF with pregame beginning at 6:45. The Bruce Thomas Tournament Championship will feature Hancock and McKinley at 8:30 but will not be broadcast on KJFF.
