St. Pius Girls Soccer Faces Clayton Saturday in State Quarterfinals
(FESTUS)    The St. Pius Lady Lancers soccer team will host the Clayton Lady Greyhounds in the quarterfinals of the Class 2 state playoffs Saturday at Noon.
 The winner moves on to the Final Four next weekend.
The Lady Lancers have 20 wins, five losses and one tie.  They have won seven in a row, including the three shutouts in the district round.
Clayton is 10-10. St. Pius coach Aaron Portell says his squad is ready.

According to Portell, the Lady Lancers are a young group and everyone has contributed to the success of the team this season.

Saturday’s winner will face either Orchard Farm or Whitfield  in a semifinal game set for Friday June 2nd 2:30pm at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton.  The championship game is slated for the next day, 4pm at World Wide.
