St. Pius Names New Head Football Coach
(FESTUS)    St. Pius X High School this week announced the hiring of a new head football coach.  Frank Ray, who most recently served as an assistant coach at Hillsboro will take over for the  retiring Dan Oliver who has coached the Lancers for the past four seasons.
St. Pius Athletic Director Tilden Watson says he is impressed by Ray’s passion to coach.

Watson believes Ray’s desire to teach the fundamentals of blocking and tackling can be applied at the high school level.

The Lancers finished last season with a record of 8-3.
