St. Pius pushes past Festus boys’ soccer on KJFF

(Festus) The St. Pius Lancers showed that they’re one of Jefferson County’s best boys’ soccer teams after they knocked off the Festus Tigers 4-0 Wednesday on KJFF.

St. Pius struck first in the 16th minute.

The Lancers dominated possession, finishing with a whopping 31 shots.

Collin Brown was involved with the attack all game long.

That includes when the Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game got an assist on the second goal of the night.

St. Pius added 2 more tallies in the second half on their way to a 16th straight win.

Lancers head coach Aaron Portell says they probably could have put up even more goals.

St. Pius improves to 2-0 in conference play and 5-1 overall.

Festus falls to 2-4 and 0-2 in the JCAA.
