St. Pius Quarterback James Smith is Applebee’s Player of the Week

(FESTUS) St. Pius High School senior James Smith is this week’s Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week. Smith led the way last Friday night for the Lancer’s in their 46-14 win over Grandview. Smith completed 10-of-20 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns. As a safety he recovered a fumble for a touchdown, had two interceptions and 11 solo tackles.
We asked James which side of the ball he likes the most.
Smith believes the Lancers will have a successful season.
For being named Athlete of the Week, Smith will receive a t-shirt, certificate and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
