St. Pius’ Seek springs into boys’ track Dream Team

(Festus) Cole Seek made sure that he left his mark in his final season track & field season with the St. Pius Lancers.

He earned a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team for good measure.

Seek was a Class 2 state champion in the triple jump and finished 5th at the state championships in the long jump.

But he is still floored to be receiving this honor.

Seek also earned all-conference honors in the 100 and 200-meter dashes.

But he says he’s always been a natural sprinter; mastering the jumps, especially the triple, has been a career long-process.

Seek set personal records in all of his events this season.

He says it’s all thanks to a great support group.

Seek says he is considering walking on to the track team when he attends the University of Missouri this fall in Columbia.
