(Festus/Crystal City) In-person learning has defiantly benefited many schools that have been able to maintain four or five day school weeks.
With the exception of having to go all virtual for a week and a few days here and there, St. Pius X High School has maintained five days a week of on campus instruction.
In turn, ACT averages and GPA’s have remained steady and not declined overall from previous school years. St. Pius President Jim Lehn goes over the numbers.
The average GPA has also remained steady.
According to Lehn, they currently have no positive COVID-19 cases between students and faculty.
St. Pius resumed the second semester on January 6th.
