(HILLSBORO) The defending two-time state champion St. Vincent girls soccer team is paying a visit to Hillsboro on Wednesday to face the Hawks on KREI and KJFF.

St. Vincent is off to a 2-2 start this season with wins over Cape Central and Poplar Bluff and losses to Cape Central, Perryville and Fredericktown. Head coach Caitlin Pistorio likes how her offense is playing at this early stage in the season.

Hillsboro’s record is 2-2 with wins over Festus and North County and losses to Northwest and Webster Groves. Head coach Chris Schacht is encouraged by the girls’ willingness and effort to fix some of the issues they’re having.

The St. Vincent-Hillsboro girls soccer game will kick-off around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Hillsboro’s football stadium. Coverage on AM 800 KREI and AM 1400 KJFF will begin at 5:30 with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show.
