The St. Vincent Indians baseball team lost 9-3 in the Class 2 state third place match today to the Lincoln Cardinals on AM 800 KREI. The Cardinals flew out in front in the first inning with a 3-spot thanks to a Corbin Reese two-out, two-RBI triple. The Cardinals continued swinging the bat well breaking the game open with this base knock from Jackson Beaman in the sixth frame.

St. Vincent was able to find success capitalizing on Lincoln miscues scoring in the fourth inning and two runs in the seventh.

However, those were the final runs scored from St. Vincent. The Indians did have the bases loaded in the final inning but were unable to drive a run home.

After the game an emotional St. Vincent head coach Tyler Search had a few words for his seniors and their accomplishments.
