(Perryville) The St. Vincent baseball team is just three wins away from a Class 2 State Championship ring with South Pemiscot standing in its path.
At 11-10, the Indians are coming off a late rout of Van-Far in the sectional round after Ethan Pecaut applied the finishing touches with a three-run home run late in the game.
Into the quarterfinals, head coach Tyler Search believes that the fans are just as much a part of the magical run through the playoffs as are the players.

Even senior outfielder Tyler Unterreiner is a true believer in the magic in the air…or rather his hip pocket.

The 15-7 South Pemiscot Bulldogs will feature senior pitcher Riley Cain against the Indians offense. Head Coach Jason House describes the type of player St. Vincent should expect to see on the mound.

St. Vincent and South Pemiscot will try to punch its respective ticket to O’Fallon, Missouri for the Final Four next week. Listen to our coverage of the State Quarterfinal round in Steele tomorrow afternoon on AM 800 KREI. Pregame show is at 4:15 with first pitch at 4:30.
