(Grandview, Mo.) The St. Vincent Indians rolled to victory on the road tonight by a final score of 46-12 over the Grandview Eagles.

The Indians marched down the field on their opening drive and punched it in on a five-yard touchdown run by Mason Light to go up 7-0. The defense for St. Vincent forced a three-and-out on the ensuing possession and then the offense marched down the field as Garrett Dobbelare doubled up the score with a strike to Kaleb Whistler…

The PAT was good to make it 14-0. Grandview was able to respond as they put together an impressive scoring drive that was capped off by a five-yard touchdown run by David Creath…

The point after was no good to keep the score at 14-6 and then the St. Vincent offense took off. The Indians were able to find the endzone on their next three drives to go up 34-6 at halftime.

Grandview received the second half kickoff and went three-and-out and then St. Vincent picked up right where they left off.

Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game Luke Untereiner found the endzone on the Indians first two drives of the third quarter for his second and third touchdowns of the game to essentially put the game out of reach…

The PAT was no good to keep the score at 46-6. Grandview was able to find the endzone once more late in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown by Creath to conclude the scoring at 46-12 St. Vincent as both defenses stood tall in the fourth quarter.

Indians head coach Tim Schumer says coming off a loss they wanted to get off to a fast start and that’s exactly what they did…

St. Vincent improves to 5-3 on the season as they get set to host Jefferson R-7 next week. Grandview falls to 1-7 and they will be on the road next Friday against Crystal City.
