St. Vincent VB’s Verseman Makes Dream Team in Senior Season

(PERRYVILLE) – St. Vincent Indians outside hitter Jackie Verseman was selected as a member of the 2017 J-98 Dream Team. In her senior season, Verseman was voted by area coaches as one of the top 10 volleyball players this year. Verseman says it was extra special to receive the honor because her older sister, Katie, was also named a Dream Teamer in 2015.
For the fourth consecutive season, Verseman received All-District and All-Conference honors. The Indians finished 16-13-2 this season and reached the Class 1 District 4 championship match. Verseman says the team meshed together well this year.
After high school, Verseman says she plans to attend Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn. and compete on the volleyball and track teams.
Verseman says she plans to study elementary education at Christian Brothers.
