Stabbing incident in Imperial

(Imperial) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a stabbing in the overnight hours Tuesday night in the Imperial area. The incident took place around 11PM, and Lieutenant Colonel Tim Whitney says the altercation took place between and taxi driver and a passenger.

Lieutenant Colonel Whitney says the investigation is well underway.

Detective Lee Morris says they are looking closely for clues at the cab for clues.

At this time, the identity of the woman is unknown. Again, the victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.
