Staffing looking good for Crystal City Police

(Jefferson County) Staffing shortages has been a problem for a lot of businesses, especially for first responders.

A lot of police departments are dealing with retiring members and a lack of qualified candidates to fill the open positions.

Crystal City Police Captain Mike Pruneau says they recently had a Sergeant retire from the department.

Despite the retirement, Captain Pruneau mentions they are getting back up to full staff.

While staffing looks good for Crystal City police, Chief Mark Glenn with the Pevely Police Department says they are working with a shorter staff currently.
