State Changes Hotline Hours Of Operation

(Jefferson City) The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service’s Adult Abuse and Neglect Hotline is revising its hours of operations.

Starting Tuesday, the hours will be shifted to 7 a-m to 8 p-m.

The change is being made so D-H-S-S can better serve those needing to report concerns of abuse, neglect and exploitation of elderly and people with disabilities.

Officials say the new hours for the hotline will allow for increased staffing during times of highest call volume.
