State funding sercured to help with James Hardie roadway

(Crystal City) Planning and preparation for the James Hardie plant in Crystal City continue at several levels. The manufacturing plant hopes to be up and running at some point in 2025 and there are lots of things to change when it comes to the infrastructure in and around the site. State Representative Ken Waller of Herculaneum says all six Jefferson County Reps worked together to secure funding from the state in the next budget to help improve Calvary Church Road leading into the property.

Waller says this is another big step in the process to get things in order for the plant project to move forward.

The 2023 state budget is still being ironed out in the legislature, but Missouri is working on a surplus of funds, which made securing this funding much easier.
