State Rep. Phil Amato on his first legislative session

(Jefferson City) 113th District State Representative Phil Amato of Arnold says his first legislative session was certainly a learning experience. Amato did file four bills in the Missouri House, however, all four did not make it through the process to finish on the governor’s desk to be signed. Amato says he was nearly able to get two of his legislation pieces along by attaching them to a Senate bill.

Amato says, in the end, the bill ran out of time.

Amato says he learned quite a bit about the filing process.

Amato served on the committees for Economic Development, Health and Mental Health Policy, Local Government, and Transportation Infrastructure.
