State Rep Phil Amato talks matching safety grants for school security

(Jefferson City) State Representative Phil Amato of Arnold has filed a bill that will help with funding for added security measures for schools across the state. Amato says it’s the Sullivan Safety Grant in which the state will match the funding.

Amato says there are other safety features the grant would cover.

House Bill 1068 was read a second time but has not been scheduled for a committee hearing as of Monday.
