State Representative Francis Pleased With Vote

(Perryville) State Representative Rick Francis of Perryville is among those pleased with the passage of the Medicaid funding tax that was renewed by the legislature this week. Francis says they really had no choice. It was either pass it, or expect the governor to make some major cuts in funding.

The bill was passed in the House by a vote of 140-13. The new fiscal year in Missouri started today.
