State Representative Mary Elizabeth Coleman Announces her Run for State Senate

(Jefferson County) Republican State Representative Mary Elizabeth Coleman of Arnold announced she will be running for state Senate in the 2022 election.

Coleman, who serves citizens in District 97, which covers a portion of northern Jefferson County, says she will seek her political party’s nomination in August for the Senates 22nd District seat which is currently held by Paul Wieland.

Senator Wieland, who is on his second four year term in the Senate, will be term limited out under state law.

As of right now no other candidates have announced a possible Senate run in District 22 for the 2022 election.
