State Resumes Community COVID-19 Testing Events throughout Missouri

(Jefferson County) More than 50 counties throughout Missouri participated in COVID-19 Community Testing events from April through July.

The next round of events will take place later this month in 8 counties across the state, including Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Community Testing events will take place on Tuesday, September 22 from 10am until 7 pm and Wednesday, September 23 from 7am until 5pm at Faith Community Church in House Springs.

Brianne Zwiener is the Communications Specialist for the Jefferson County Health Department.

She says the Community Testing event is open to anyone wishing to get tested for COVID-19.

Zwiener adds Community Testing events like this help health officials determine the impact of COVID-19 locally.

In addition, St. Francois County will have a Community Testing event on Monday, September 21 from 7am until 3pm at the Farmington Firehouse.

Madison County’s will be on Friday, September 18 from 7am until noon at Cherokee Pass Volunteer Fire Department.

Perry County’s will be on Saturday, September 19 from 7am until 3pm at Perryville City Park.
