Ste. Gen Grad Nathan St. Clair To Run At Mineral Area College

(Park Hills) Nathan St. Clair recently graduated from Ste. Genevieve High School and he’ll be staying close to home by attending Mineral Area College in Park Hills to continue his athletic career in cross country and track & field. St. Clair said a conversation this past year with MAC coach Steve Davis helped make his decision.

St. Clair ran in the Class 3 State Cross Country Championships last November and finished 19th with a time of 16 minutes 50 seconds. That’s a major improvement from his junior year when he ended the state championships in 60th place at a time of 18 minutes 10 seconds. St. Clair tells us about his racing style.

St. Clair has a lot of people in his corner but Ste. Gen High School principal Dr. John Boyd Jr. has been instrumental in his running career.

St. Clair will head to MAC at the beginning of August and begin running cross country soon after. He says he’s still working off the vacation rust.

St. Clair plans to work on his general studies at Mineral Area College.
