Ste. Genevieve Post 150 took down Potosi Post 265 by a score of 10-3 Thursday night on KREI. It was a barn burner for the first few innings as Ste. Gen had only one hit through four innings. Post 150 broke open in the fifth where they scored four runs.
That’s all Ste. Gen would need to win the game, but the runs kept coming. Spring Dream Team member Josh Bieser was named the Applebee’s of Farmington Player of the Game.
Ste. Gen head coach Junie Basler gave praise to Potosi’s starting pitcher Landon Bone on the Home Pools and Spas Postgame Show.
Ste. Gen’s Quentin Wittkopf threw a complete game while showing poise on the mound.
Ste. Genevieve improves to 13-5 on the season. Potosi falls to 0-9.
