Ste. Genevieve City Council Still Deciding on Tourism Director Position

(Ste. Genevieve) The Ste. Genevieve City Council is still deciding on what to do with their vacant tourism director position.

Mayor Paul Hassler says the topic was discussed during the latest council meeting.

Also at the meeting, local artist Joy French was recognized by the council for her recent work.

In other news from the Ste. Genevieve City Council meeting, Samantha Kertz was appointed to the Parks and Recreation Board.

The purchase of two new police cars was approved.

Also, a bid was approved to purchase seven bullet proof vests for the police department at a cost of almost 62-hundred dollars.
