Ste. Genevieve County Man Arrested for Child Pornography

(Ste. Genevieve County) The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control has announced that after an investigation, a Ste. Genevieve County man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Last Thursday, investigators served a search warrant at the residence of 60-year-old Timothy Ray White.

He lives on Dry Fork Road, about midway between Olympian Village and French Village, but actually within Ste. Genevieve County.

Following the search, investigators say they seized child pornography and computer equipment.

White was arrested for promoting and possession of child pornography and was taken to the Ste. Genevieve County Jail.

On Friday, the Ste. Genevieve County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged White with promoting child pornography and five counts of possession of child porn.

White has no bond at this time.

The Division of Drug and Crime Control encourages internet users to promptly report to police anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate or sexualized communications with children.
