(FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.) – The Fredericktown Blackcats football team will be celebrating Homecoming on Friday night as they host the Ste. Genevieve Dragons on J-98.

Fredericktown enters with a 1-5 record and has lost 4 in a row, but none of those deficits have reached more than 12 points.

Blackcats head coach Chuck Ford says his team needs to minimize mistakes going forward.

On the side of Ste. Genevieve, the Dragons come in with a 3-3 record on the season.

Ste. Gen has won 2 of their last 3 games, and head coach Ken Weik liked how his team played in last week’s Homecoming victory over Perryville.

Now that it’s Fredericktown’s turn to have Homecoming, coach Ford gives his thoughts on the week…

Ste. Gen will be led on offense by quarterback Logan Gegg and a combination at running back of Zach Boyer and Austin Bullock.

Fredericktown will counter with an improving quarterback in Evan Burrows and a star running back in Malachi Kyle.

Coach Weik looks at the matchup.

Coverage of the football matchup Friday night between Fredericktown and Ste. Genevieve will begin at 6 with the Fliegs Equipment Pregame Show on Regional Radio.

Kickoff at 7 on J-98.
