The Ste. Genevieve Dragons are gearing up for another season on the volleyball court and hoping to continue the run of success they’ve been on under head coach Jessica Fallert.

Like last year’s team, the Dragons will have some big hitters up front, led by senior all-conference and all-district middle hitter Julia McKlin.
Senior outside hitter Ella Reed and junior right side Marysa Flieg are also back after posting more than 100 kills each in 2018.
Fallert says it’s a huge advantage to have that experience up front.

But with the loss of all-conference and all-district outside hitter Jennifer Humboldt, Fallert says the emphasis this offseason has been on getting stronger in the back line, particularly utilizing junior setter Brittney Krietler and senior libero Jaida Greminger.

Ste. Genevieve opens up the 2019 volleyball season against the same team that beat them in state sectionals last year, as the Dragons will travel to Festus on September 3rd.
