Ste. Genevieve Man Injured in Two Vehicle Crash

(French Village) A man from Ste. Genevieve was injured this morning in a two vehicle accident in Ste. Genevieve County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place on the Lawrenceton Cutoff,  just north of Roth Road, located between French Village and Bloomsdale, when the front left of a Jeep Cherokee driven by 24-year-old Dustin Bays of Ste. Gen and the front left of a Dodge Stratus driven by 24-year-old Jeremy Gore also of Ste. Genevieve collided.

Bays’ Cherokee ran off the road and overturned and Gore’s Dodge ran off the road and struck an embankment.

Gore received moderate injuries in the crash and he was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis for treatment.

Bays was not injured.
