Ste. Genevieve School Superintendent Discusses Cancelling Classes Because of Winter Weather

(Ste. Genevieve) The Ste. Genevieve School District took a lot longer in making a decision to cancel classes today compared to several other schools in the area.

Superintendent Dr. Julie Flieg says the roads in her district were fine Wednesday night.

Dr. Flieg says this winter storm system has not left her with an easy, clear-cut decision when it comes to calling off school.

Dr. Flieg may have another long night on deciding whether to cancel Ste. Genevieve classes for Friday with the possibility of more winter precipitation that could fall tonight.
