Ste. Genevieve Softball Eyes Trip Back to District Final

The Ste. Genevieve Dragons softball team comes off a good season last year, finishing with their record at 18-7 and a hard fought 12-5 loss in the Class 2 District 2 Final to the West County Lady Bulldogs. Most of the team are juniors returning for another season. Manager Becky Keim talks about what practices and the offseason looked like.

Keim says a lot of players have changed positions this season.

Ste. Genevieve opened their season in the Brookland Bearcat Blast held in Arkansas. Keim says she does this by design.

Ste. Genevieve currently boasts a 4-3 record. Their next games are Saturday, when they host a double header against the Doniphan Donettes and Naylor Lady Eagles.
