Ste. Genevieve Takes Down Fredericktown Thursday In MAAA Battle On Regional Radio

(STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo.) – The Ste. Genevieve girls basketball team kept their undefeated season alive on Thursday night when they defeated Fredericktown 68-34 on the MyMoInfo SportStream.

The Dragons got off to a hot start in the first quarter and kept it going here in quarter number two.

The Dragons headed into the half with a twenty-point advantage and were led by juniors Marysa Flieg and Megan Aubuchon with 15 points.

Sydney Bumgardaner was active in all aspects of the game as well.

She had 12 points with 6 blocks and received our Applebee’s Player of the Game recognition.

Head coach, Jordanna Walk-Robison, says she was pleased with how the team responded after some second quarter struggles.

Ste. Genevieve improves to 12-0 and 1-0 in the MAAA while the Blackcats fall to 3-11 and 0-1.

Ste Genevieve will travel to Valle Catholic on Saturday.
