Ste. Genevieve Teenager Killed in Motorcycle/S.U.V. Crash

(Ste. Genevieve) A teenager from Ste. Genevieve is dead after a motorcycle/S.U.V. accident Wednesday night in Ste. Genevieve County.

The Highway Patrol says the accident took place at 8342 Highway 61 when a Honda CBR motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Quentin Duvall crossed the centerline and was struck head-on by an S.U.V. driven by 28-year-old Kelsey Kertz of Ste. Genevieve.

Duvall was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead by County Coroner Eric Basler.

Kertz received minor injuries from the crash and was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
