Ste. Genevieve Woman Killed in Crash

(Ste. Genevieve) A Ste. Genevieve woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident on Highway 61 in Ste. Genevieve County.
The highway patrol says Caroline Knake was driving north when her vehicle ran off the road and hit a ditch.
It then became airborne, hit the ground and struck two trees.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by the assistant county coroner.
The accident happened just before 5 Thursday afternoon.
