Ste. Genevieve’s Aubuchon Signed with Central Methodist Track and Field

(Ste. Genevieve) Another terrific Ste. Genevieve track and field athlete has found a home for the next four years.

Megan Aubuchon signed recently to continue her running career with Central Methodist University.

She says a full-ride scholarship and a comfortable environment made CMU a great choice.

With Ste. Genevieve’s track and field team, Aubuchon participates in several events: 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 4×400, high jump, and the triple jump.

At 5’10”, she is a standout at hurdles, but she says there is another event that she loves just as much.

Despite missing out on the track and field season last spring because of the pandemic, Aubuchon has already made a lasting impact on the Lady Dragons’ program.

She is the school record holder for the 33″ 100m hurdles with a time of 14.9 seconds which she set in the spring of 2019.

Aubuchon says being an athlete at Ste. Genevieve has been special because the school feels like a family.

Aubuchon is a great two-sport athlete for Ste. Genevieve.

She is currently finishing up basketball season with the (15-4) MAAA conference champion girls team before her final track and field season with the Lady Dragons in the spring.
