(STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo.) – Julia Koetting of the Ste. Genevieve Dragons softball team has decided to keep her softball career going. Koetting signed on to play for St. Louis Community College in Meramec. Koetting said there were many reasons why she chose to play for the Archers.

While spending most of her high school career as a catcher, Koetting said playing that position helped her hitting approach.

As she preps for the next level, there are a few things Koetting wants to improve in her skill set.

Koetting said she plans to enter the nursing program at St. Louis Community College. The Archers went 28-13 last season and won the Region 16 regular season title.
