Ste. Gen’s Season Comes To An End

(Jackson) Ste. Genevieve Post 150’s season came to an end Sunday after a 16-9 loss to Cape in the Zone 4 championship game in Jackson. Cape put up 11 runs in the top of the first inning but Ste. Gen scored nine unanswered to make it a two run game. Unfortunately for Post 150, that’s all they would get as Cape never relinquished the lead. Ste. Gen started the tournament with a loss to Cape then won four consecutive games in the losers bracket to get into the championship game. Post 150 finishes their season at 25-9.
