Stealing from vehicles still a problem

(Hillsboro) Stealing from unlocked vehicles continues to happen frequently in Jefferson County, particularly in the northern end of the county. Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak says too many residents are making it easy by not locking their car doors and leaving items in plain sight.

Sheriff Marshak says some of the thieves have been captured on video being armed. Areas of Imperial and Fenton have been hit the hardest in the past few weeks.
