Steelville City Employee Health Insurance Issues

(Steelville) The Steelville City Council discussed employee health insurance during Monday night’s meeting at city hall.

Mayor Mike Keen says they ran into a few issues that needs to be squared away before they can accept the new plan.

The mayor says the city council also had a visit at the meeting from the Steelville Chamber of Commerce.

In other news from Monday night’s Steelville City Council meeting, Rosemary Woodward and Mary Young were on hand to tell the council they have acquired 25-thousand dollars so far from fundraising efforts in order to build a new dog pound in town.
