Steelville Girls Hoops Aiming High Again

(STEELVILLE, Mo.) – The Steelville Cardinals girls basketball team made history last season, winning the program’s first-ever district title. While the team is losing key players like Hannah Cottrell and Abby Booker to graduation, the team still returns three starters from last year’s squad. Head coach Seth Collins said he is glad to have that core group around for this year.
Even though this year’s group is on the younger side, Collins said expectations are still high.
The Cardinals will open up the 2018-19 girls basketball schedule with a home game against the Potosi Trojans on Monday, Nov. 19.
