Steelville Man Fleeing From The Law Injured In Accident

(Steelville) A Steelville man who was fleeing from a Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputy was seriously injured in a traffic accident late last night in Crawford County.

The highway patrol says a Chevy Blazer driven by William White was driving south on Seven Cedars Road when he ran off the road on a curve and hit a tree.

He was seriously injured in the accident.

His passenger, Chelsea Green of Steelville sustained minor injuries.

Both were taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. The accident happened six miles south of Steelville.

There’s no word yet as to why they were fleeing from law enforcement.
