Steelville Man Killed In Accident

(Steelville) A 65 year old man from Steelville was killed Wednesday in a traffic accident in Washington County.
The highway patrol says Allen Arndt was driving north on Gobbler’s Knob Road when his truck ran off the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
The bed of his truck then hit a tree.
Arndt wasn’t wearing a safety device and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington County Coroner.
The accident happened yesterday north of Skyview Drive.
