(PARK HILLS) The 3-seeded Steelville Lady Cardinals claim a spot in the Central Christmas Tournament championship with a 52-39 win over 2nd seed South Iron.

With the game tied late in the 3rd, the Cardinals turned to sharpshooter Abby Booker to put Steelville back in front for good.

That three-ball from Booker led to a 19-4 Cardinals run to end the game. Steelville head coach Seth Collins says the team settled into a groove early on.

The Cardinals advance to the championship game on Saturday to play the Central Rebels at 6. South Iron moves to the third place game to face the Arcadia Valley Tigers at 3. Catch all of the action on on J98 and the Parkland Health Mart WebTV broadcast.
