Steelville’s Landon Mabe Gets Another Dream Team Nod

(Steelville) Steelville senior Landon Mabe was voted onto the Regional Radio Boys Basketball Dream Team for the second straight year. Averaging 20.5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game while shooting 52% from the field this year, Mabe helped the Cardinals win their third consecutive district championship. He was happy to get the distinction of being on the Dream Team, but Mabe wanted to share the honor with the team…

Mabe surpassed 1,500 points this season, but he would give them all up if the team could win every game…

Mabe had a lot of praise for head coach John Tolly and assistant coach Carlos Diaz….

Mabe was one of six seniors on Steelville, along with Johnny Brice, Conner Diaz, Daniel Light, Kyle Killeen and Wyatt Harris. He tells us a little about the rest of the squad…

Mabe is also a two-time all-state honoree and a member of the Steelville golf team.
