Steve Farmer wins re-election for Jefferson County Public Administrator

(Hillsboro) Steve Farmer will continue to be the Jefferson County Public Administrator. Farmer won re-election Tuesday by a wide margin receiving over 65 percent of the vote and defeated Jason C. Jarvis. Farmer says he’s happy to continue to serve the county.

Farmer will not have an opponent in the November Presidential Election.

Two current Jefferson County Council members won re-election as Charles Groeteke defeated Trisha Fibris with over 65 percent of the vote in District 4, and Dan Stallman won over David Collins with nearly 63 percent of the vote in District 6. Incumbent Renee Reuter ran unopposed in District 2.
